Julien Madon

Julien Madon produced his first feature in 2010, The Assault, directed by Julien Leclercq.

Since then, he has produced five other features from the same director: The Crew in 2015, The
Bouncer in 2018, Earth and Blood in 2019 on Netflix, Sentinelle in 2020 and The Wage of Fear in 2023 (currently shooting).

Madon also worked with writer-director Frédéric Tellier on his feature SK1, nominated for the César Awards in both Best First Feature Film and Best Adaptation categories. From the same director, he later produced Through the Fire (more than one million tickets sold in 2018) and Goliath, theatrically released in March 2022.

Julien Madon also produces director Samuel Benchetrit’s films. His feature Macadam Stories
(2015) was selected at Cannes Film Festival for the Official Selection Out of Competition and in the
Best Adaptation category of the César Awards. Chien was selected at the Locarno Festival in 2017
and Love Song for Tough Guys at Cannes Film Festival in 2021 in the Cannes Premiere category.

In 2018, Julien Madon produced Bluebird, Jérémie Guez's first feature film and selected at
the South by Southwest Festival 2018 and at the Beaune Festival 2019. They continued their
collaboration with Guez’s second film, Sons of Philadelphia, selected at the TriBeCa Festival in 2020
and then at the Deauville Festival the same year, distributed in France by The Jokers (Parasite,
Mademoiselle...) and sold worldwide. He then produced Jérémie Guez's third feature film, Kanun,
which will be theatrically released on December 7, 2022.

Hannah Ladoul and Marco La Via’s (We the Coyotes) second feature-film, Funny Birds,
produced with Martin Scorsese, was done shooting at the end of October 2022.

To date, Julien has produced over 20 feature-films and is now embarking on the production of
series with his company Cheyenne Federation. With this company, he produced in 2020 Une Affaire
Française, a limited series for TF1, the series Ganglands adapted from the film The Crew for Netflix
(season 2 released in January 2023), then the series Notre-Dame (Netflix), as well as
BRI (Jérémie Guez's first series) for Canal +, planned for early 2023.
